| | Crans-Montana is truly a choice destination for golf. Besides the famous course where one of the biggest European golf competitions, the European Masters, is played every year, the area also boasts two other 18-hole courses within a 20 kilometre radius. In Crans-Montana, the greens designed by Severiano Ballesteros and Jack Nicklaus are in the middle of the resort, and can be accessed directly on foot. Just outside the resort, two 9-hole courses allow beginners without a handicap to play. The Sierre and Sion golf courses in the Rhône Valley are also close by, and provide an opportunity to discover very different scenery, as does the Leuk 18-hole course, just up the valley. |
